The City's Public Works Department is responsible for making sure the City-owned buildings, grounds and roads look and function at their best. The Department's responsibilities include:

• Snow removal and ice abatement on City streets

• Repairing City streets and curbs

• Replacing catch basins

• Repairing and replacing City sidewalks

• Trimming and removing trees on City property

• Repairing and maintaining storm and sanitary sewers

• Maintaining public grounds and physical structures, including those located in the City parks
